Technology litigation is simply litigation that primarily arises from a dispute involving technology and the businesses that are involved in that technology. It is different from ordinary litigation in that it requires an understanding of the technology involved. The firm has handled a variety of technology litigation, including computer hardware and software adequacy and performance contracts, licensing and support matters, technology-transfer and joint-development agreements, patent and trade-secret infringements, and various contract disputes related to manufacturing.
Technology litigation may also involve employment issues involving engineers, computer scientists, and other high-technology personnel, including violation of restrictive covenants and non-disclosure obligations.
