  Angela Holt’s practice is centered on litigation in the fields of intellectual property, commercial and business issues, and high-technology issues in Huntsville, Alabama, and surrounding areas. She is a registered patent attorney, and her cases have involved patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, government contracting disputes (including bid protests), domain-name disputes, breach of contract, employee disputes, and restrictive covenants. She has experience prosecuting patent, copyright, and trademark applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the U.S. Copyright Office, and has litigated many inter partes trademark opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Ms. Holt is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the United States Court of Federal Claims, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, and all Alabama state courts.

    CIVIC ACTIVITIES & OTHER EXPERIENCES

    Before attending law school, Ms. Holt worked 11 years for The Boeing Company as a test engineer and designer of test-support equipment. In these positions, Ms. Holt established test methods, prepared test procedures, and performed structural and environmental testing of hardware on the International Space Station. She also designed test fixtures for leak testing of seals. Ms. Holt is a member of the board of directors of CASA of Madison County, a non-profit organization that provides numerous services for the elderly and homebound of Madison County.
