Mr. Holland is a shareholder of the firm, and he routinely advises startup companies and high-technology clients on issues related to intellectual property, contracts, licensing, and technology transfer. Mr. Holland has considerable experience drafting and prosecuting patent, copyright, and trademark applications both domestically and internationally. Before joining the firm, Mr. Holland was a partner and practiced for nearly 12 years with one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the Southeast. Mr. Holland has worked extensively with several Fortune 100 high-technology clients in procuring, enforcing, and evaluating intellectual property rights.
With dual undergraduate degrees in electrical and aerospace engineering, Mr. Holland is well suited to handle technically complex issues, and he has significant experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a wide range of technologies, including computer graphics, software, microprocessing, computer hardware, electronics, electro-mechanical systems, cameras, microfabrication, telecommunications, and data networking.
