Mrs. Pate has experience at both the trial and appellate level, covering a wide range of insurance and corporate civil defense matters. She has represented insurance carriers in a variety of motor-vehicle liability-insurance cases involving personal automobiles as well as such commercial vehicles as delivery vans and tractor-trailer trucks. She has handled both uninsured and underinsured motorist cases. She has also represented insurance carriers in a variety of residential and commercial premises-liability cases (involving such diverse issues as slip-and-fall and burns). She has defended public entities in employment law cases involving wrongful discharge and hiring discrimination.
